what a week...
Jul. 19th, 2008 01:52 pmWeek ? Try month. Year? Whatever. I'm not going to get terribly introspective here, so don't worry. I may geek a bit though, but at least that's to be expected.
So yeah... yesterday. Crazy, man. I was looking forward to the weekend and so far, well, basically I was looking forward to yesterday, 'cause there were no plans beyond that except in a very nebulous "if things go well, it'll be relaxing and the least stress I've felt in awhile... but if things go poorly, I'll be miserable and stuff my face."
And judging by the nachos and taco salad I'm plowing through... it could really be either. I like to eat, remember.
So yesterday, right? If you're still reading... Nana-thon, as per usual. Productive, got stuff done for her... hoped I'd get what I needed at Autozone to get my car to behave (didn't work, really, so that kinda sucks), and hoped I'd track down a package Kim was looking for (didn't do that either, wow are postal workers unhelpful when they want to be). So okay, whatever. Got home, did (ineffectual) car stuff, showered, relaxed with some fanfic...
Kim got home, we headed out to prospective new residence number I lost count.
Where I proceeded to fall down some stairs. Not a whole flight. Not even a half, like in the basement that time where I bruised up my not-tiny behind. But just trippedslipped down about 3 or 4 stairs... very nothing to watch, I'm sure. But ended up with my right leg bent behindunder me in a very un-fun way. Not so bad then. But yeah, in the car later? Twingey...achey... fun.
Then we got to the theater, where evidently most of the other people in the tri-county area decided to go. Thankfully... dun-danaNAH pre-bought Imax tickets, complete with assigned seating. Victory lap!
And yeah. The Dark Knight. OMGSOAWESOME. Kim and I spent the entire night laughing and gasping and each glancing over to make sure the other was seeing the awesome unfold. 'Cause yeah.
This morning? Owowowowow. Leg SUCKS. Kim's thankfully getting out of the house to avoid annoyinglittlesister's party tonight. *rolls eyes*
But at least this weekend of noisy stereos and barking dogs has a light at the end of the tunnel. And it's not a train, or hellfire, as fellow SPN fans might chuckle.
:)
