So I got a gorgeous new quilt for Christmas from my aunt, and got a simple new curtain to go with it. I was sick in bed for most of this weekend, but managed to put away Christmas decorates (sob!) and hem the curtain yesterday (waaay overdid it. Was hemming in bed curled in my Harry Potter blanket). I redid my bed today (still need new sheets, but you can't see those, so yay!) so it all came together. There's still a bit more I'd like to do, but since I haven't decided what that is yet, and budget and my decorating abilities are at a minimum, this is what you get for now! Plus pictures of recent and not-so-recent updates, since it's actually kinda clean (Don't mind toys along the floor, we've got a kitten and it's like living with a toddler. Or a puppy. She's defective *and* evil.)

First off, I put these all in an lj gallery, so you can totally just browse here if you wanted. But if this is easier, then: pictures ahoy! )

Yeah, so... [livejournal.com profile] kimberlysghost's first musical. Aww.

Anyway.

On another note, as I'm getting ready to start my work day- BLEH. ROADS SUCK TODAY. Supposedly there's like 260 plows out there? And dozens of private contractors were ordered out, too? Evidently none of them are going near 91 or 84. Uhm. Hello? Why is it a mass of snow and slush THROUGH HARTFORD?

And can someone please plow the exit ramp to get to my work? 'Cause totally got stuck and had to gun it into traffic and have some bitchy truck honk his horn at me, like he didn't see my itty bitty Escort getting stuck. Jerky jerk face.

Anyway. Need to refill my water bottle and ready for another day of talking to old folks. Hah.
